Much Much Much!

Let me star of saying that what a incredible weather we have here in Finland. Was working today and we were outside with the kids when suddenly it started to hail, then rain and finally snow... Finland- the country where the weather conditions always surprises you! Lets face it the summer days are long gone and the cruel reality is catching up, we will all fall in deep depression from
1. not seeing the sun
2. live in the dark for 6 months or so
3. have to wear itchy knit sweater that your mom made ya
4. slip and fall on your way to school
yepp ladies and lads we are in for a cruel winter and it's just around the corner, be prepared!

Well good things come with this time of the year.... my birthday! :) I'm gonna be 21 this Sunday. Do I feel old? Nope not yet anyway. But hey with this age I can hit the clubs in the big US, just something I came across while talking to my sister. Twenty-one... big number but doesn't really mean anything?
Well me and my best friends ever gonna hang out this week-end by eating a lot and get fat! Just the way it should be ;)

Why this picture? Well I kinda have that song from Simpson stuck in my head, you know the one from the movie that goes like this:

SPIDER PIG

SPIDER PIG

Does whatever a SPIDER PIG does

Can he swing

From a web

No he cant

He's a pig

LOOK OOOUUUTTT!!!!

He is a SPIDER PIG!!

Funny! :D

Another thing, my cousin is getting married and she asked me if I can be the "photographer" at her wedding.. and I said yes even thou I haven't practiced with my new digital camera. But it would be a fun thing to try. Gonna find some time to shoot some photos and put them here so you can comment if I'm really up for the job as an "wedding photographer" or not!

Over and out!

The big sis that I am!

Last week my little sister cut her hand. She came running from her room and screamed my name, the blood was dripping down the floor and I lost it. I hate blood, I freak when I see blood but I am a big sister so I have to act like one! So I got to my senses and pulled my sleeves up and took care of her cut. Then I saw how big the cut was! oh my! then I got worried, do I need to take her to the hospital or what should I do? My sis didn't want to go, because that meant that they would have to sew the cut. I did what I always do when I need a second opinion.. mom! Mom said it wasn't necessary to take her to the hospital if the blood stopped running. Well she is fine now and I'm happy that I was "strong" enough to help her ;)
Oh and got brilliant news! I'm going to work in a daycare. Don't have that many classes in school so it's a perfect moment to earn some money plus I can play all day long, learn something and have a awesome time! lovin' it parapapapaaaa :D

Lifetime Piling Up

Some pic. from my trip :)

I've been lousy at updating my blog and I apologize. Well as many already know I've been in London and it was breathtaking! To see where all the history begun and to actually hear the insanely beautiful British English was a dream come true. I've seen allot off stuff and experienced things that I didn't thought I would. Going back to Finland was like putting me in prison. I know, I know the comment was a little bit harsh but I'm soo not looking forward to start with my Bachelor degree. Have no inspiration whatsoever. I'm sure things will change while I'm actually doing it and I got to focus on the day when I have the finish product in my hands. Till then I'm bumped.
worried by the bachelor degree isn't one of my main things wondering my head, last week my mom called and said that my grandpa is in the hospital. He fell and broke his leg and my sis was visiting him and said that it was horrible hearing him scream every time the nurses tried to move him. He's gotten very ill this past year and it sucks seeing him suffer the way he does. I loved hearing him talk about his childhood and his adventures in the second world war and me and my twin sisters mischiefs as kids. Even thou he is a hard person at times he is my grandpa and I couldn't see anybody else replacing his role.

Another thing concerning me is the damn apartment! I haven't found one jet! But thanks to my dear cousin I'm crashing her place until I find one of my own. Thank you for that Majda I appreciate it!

With all kinds of crazy things piling up in my head I've reached a conclusion that made me proud of myself. I've came across things that I thought I would never learn! I finally fucking got it!

With that said It's time to say smell ya later!

Couldn't ask for a better present. And tomorrow is his birthday, the dude is gettin old. My present? I'll sing; Happy Birthday to you my American Bastard!
Oh yeah I bought myself a digital SLR camera. Now I'm trying to figure out how to take good pic. with it.

Tomorrow we are off to London! Tomorrow I'm gonna be a lost tourist in a big city!

Songs to love and die by

Ok, I've decided to make a kinda of top 17 music list.. I'm actually against this because first of all it's hard do categorize all the worlds music in a 17 top list. Second of all I have a very hard time deciding what I should consider in MY 17 top list just because music is as we all know a personal thing, we all have our disagreements in what song or what band should be topped as one of the greatest! But I'll give it a shot! These songs is like the wind that blew my heart away ... and yepp it's a long list but it was hard to make it any shorter because these song mean something special to me and I never get tired of listening to them.... enjoy!

Okej we will start of with number 17. Here I have Blink 182 with there song miss you. I just love this song it's combine with corniness and a little bit dark in a way.. but anyhow it's a great song.

Next up is Eminem with his song Stan on place 16. Eminem is a love hate factor but on thing that I'm sure of is that he is a lyrical bastard...That's all I'm gonna say.

Number 15. Here we got Motley Crue with kickstart my heart. Hell of a song makes me wanna jump and head bang when I hear this song :D well it puts me in the mood to get crazy a little bit.

Then we have 14. and Coldplays song The Scientist. Personally all of there songs are great but this song is one of the better ones. And I really like the music video.

Number 13. Citizen Cope from Brooklyn, New York. This guy has a very cool voice and every time I hear one of his songs my mind seem to wander away..

okej now we have number 12 and Foo Fighters- Times like these. You can never go wrong with these guys. This song is a really "life is good" song. And a very feel good song as well. I've chosen a acoustic version because I get a summer vibe from it.

11. We got 3 Doors Down and there beautiful song here without you. All I can say is naawwww and maybe a tear could roll down my face, just maybe.. a little bit.

The big 10. Are ya still with me? My twin sister and I have this song that we listen to every time we are cruzin' in mamas car :D And my sister loves this song so that's why it's special to me. We got---> I am the highway with Audioslave.

Number 9. We are near the end guys.. I was a huge and with huge I mean a HUGE fan of this band. I'm talking about Linkin Park and their song In the end. I'm still a fan but not a huge one like I was in my early teens. It's not just that Chester Bennington has an amazing voice but the songs really gets to ya.

8 place with Kings of Leon and sexes on fire. Oh the guitar at the beginning of the song and which continues true the whole song is amazing and the voice wow..

On 7th place we have Rise Against- Hero of war. I was first introduced to this band by my cousin in Detroit and if it wasn't for his begging for me to listen to them I actually wouldn't give a crap about them.. But damn am I glad I did listen because they are really really good. And the cool thing about them is that every music video they have made has like a hidden message about the world we are living in... a reason for us to Rise Against.

6th place Metallica - Nothing else matters.. To tell you the truth I'm not that fond of Metallica but this song.. I think you are an idiot if you don't appreciate this song. This song will continue being big and remembered for many years to come.

On 5th place we have Red hot chili peppers and The otherside. Almost every song they have made are breathtaking but I think that The Otherside is almost everybody's( who listen to them of course)favorite. I like Anthony Kiedis blond hair in the video :D

4th We have Jeff Buckley. No one and when I say No one I mean it! No one can top his version of Leonard Cohens song hallelujah. It can't be described, the song, the voice and guitar solo yepp the hole thing is mind blowing! Jeff Buckley gets extra credit for being so fucking hot!

okey we are getting close.. number 3. none other than Nirvana with Smells like teen spirit. I think everybody has this song on their list. This song is everything a rock song should be, and so much more.

On Second place we have the band with the one eyebrow guy from the UK Oasis - Wonderwall. I ain't gonna write anything else about this song but that it makes me happy :)

We are at the end! drums please.. tatatadaa It's Guns n' Roses with my favorite song Sweet child o mine! My cousin used to play on his guitar and sing old guns n roses songs back at his old place when I was a kid. And that was when I started to take an interest in the band. The band is just legendary!

Life how it should be

Nothing has happened this past week accept that my hands are aching..they are killing me to be exact! Couldn't sleep last night because they were shaking and I had no feeling in them, I literally couldn't pick up my phone.. Well enough with my whining good things to come! Like for example I just joined a dance school :) wuuupiiiduuu! My good friend Anneli was kind enough to bring me with her to one of her dance classes and I was hooked! I fell in love. I had never felt soooo out of place in my entire life but it was a hell of a dance class! I had danced before as a kind, I was even believe it or not a cheer leader but I got board and begun with music instead. But I always wanted to learn some cool dance moves like hiphop and finally I got the chance to do so. So get ready y'all because in couple of months I'll be rocking the dance floor in Olivers' in ( we can pretend anyways) ;D The second thing is that my lovely big sister is coming soon! In August to be exact and guess what!!? so is my crazy brother-in-law! Japp the one that hits me, suffocated me with a madras, throws me on the ground, calls me Canadian bastard (why is that you may wonder well let me tell you why, because I cheered at the wrong team when it was ice-hockey world cup! As you all know USA lost against Canada and I couldn't help myself but to send him a message that said loooooser with uppercase.) Jepp THE brother-in-law! But don't get me wrong I love him! I couldn't ask for a better brother-in-law in the whole world! I never have so much fun then when I'm being hit, humiliated and called names then when I with him! love ya bro!As I was saying they are coming really soon and when they come we are going to LONDON baby! Always wanted to visit LOndon and now I'm gonna do so.. can't wait! But the journey doesn't end there, no sir! Afterwards we are headed to Austria and if we have time and energy we are going to Bosnia for couple of days... Soo now I'm working my ass off to save some money and get the hell out of here! So long all my pretty readers!

A question that sometimes drives me hazy: am I or are the others crazy?

Crazy or not, why don't you get to know me a little better? I don't know who is reading this, or if someone is reading this at all.. reading or not you'll be able to know me, and nothing but me. Well let's start of with something simple like my background. Born in Yugoslavia a country that doesn't exist anymore.. cool hu? Now we call it Bosnia and Herzegovina. Born in Prijedor, hometown is Kozarac. Lived 2 years in Kozarac and then war broke out. Moved to Finland and so far I have lived here for 17 years (wow can't believe it's that long). Now I study to become a teacher and loving every bit of it! Done with the boring stuff.. Someone once told me that if someone asks you how old you are, you should respond by saying; I'm 17 and crazy.. so there you have it I'm 17 and crazy even if it's not entirely true. I'm not 17 but I am crazy :) As a kid I looked up to my sisters and I still do but I always "needed" to be different. When my sister for example played instruments like the violin, the clarinet I chose the saxophone. Oh I remembered my moms and dads face when I told them that I was going do play the saxophone. My dad asked me probably 5 times if I was sure about the choice and of course I was! Still don't regret my choice! My passion is music and art. I draw a lot and done it as long as I can remember but started doing it more frequently after my dad died. Mom thought it was a good way to move on and forget. I always found art as an escape from reality that's when I literally don't give a shit about nothing or no one. There is no wrong or right way in art if you ask me. You might as well draw a line or dot on a huge canvas and it could look interesting and beautiful. You don't have to understand it you just have to enjoy it. Now music, I believe that there is no one who doesn't enjoy music! Well I'm no different from the rest of the crowd. I sing along and I'll start dancing. I put music on when I'm sad or happy. It puts a smile on my face and I couldn't live without it. In my religion we can't listen to music for 30 days after someone has died. It's kind of a respect thing a way of showing that your mourning. So after my dad died I wasn't allowed to listen to any music. I broke that rule! I need my music, without it I can't heal and I think that dad understand-ed that. I hate chocolate or I don't hate it but I don't eat it.. I was actually allergic to chocolate when I was little so I didn't create an addiction. My sister on the other hand is an addict! I was always a rebel as a kid but I'll leave it there. I watch a lot of movies and I get so focused watching them that I kind of shut everything around me. If you are trying to talk to me while I watch something that got my attention I probably won't hear you. It's like when the dudes watch sports :D I have a complex mind or so I call my crazy head because I have the strangest questions and reflections popping time to time. Call me crazy, insane or whatever but any man who reads too much and uses his own brain too little falls into lazy habits of thinking. I like to believe that I hate politics but still talk about it. I have one wish in my life and that is that I'll travel as much as possible and to many different country's. I make funny noises when I'm bored. I love animals, as a kid i always had to stop and touch every animal that passed me. I hate spiders!!! I'm pretty much quiet and don't say much sometimes, that's not because I'm not interested I just don't have nothing to say, I prefer listening. I hate people who pretend to like you or stay in touch with you just because they want something from you... I'm not stupid I know what your attentions are. Family is everything to me, without them I wouldn't have achieved so much in my life. I'm a very nice person, I love to help but if you make me really mad like really really mad you wouldn't like to be near me because I can blow. Any intelligent fool can make things bigger and more complex... It takes a touch of genius - and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction. With that said I'm gonna stop talking about my boring ways. This is just a little bit of me and some may like me and some don't and that's the way it should be.. over and out!

Conversations at work

Well today I started a new job.. I used to work at a kindergarten but now I work with cucumbers. I put them in boxes so the boss can sell them to different buyers and stores for example... Trust me it may sound like it's simple but it isn't.. It's heavy and you have to be fast because they don't stop coming. The job is very boring because you do the same shit over and over again so that's why it's fun to have someone to talk to (but just sometimes) ;) Mirsada, a friend of mine which I've known since kindergarten works with me. And today we had an interesting conversation.. or Mirsada felt like talking but me? Not so much. Mirsada; Amra do you know how many calories we burn by doing this every day? Me; No, how many? Mirsada; a lot! I thought she would give me a number but lets face it we aren't that interested in numbers unless we talk about money ;)
Mirsada; Amra do you know that I have no life? I go to work, and work for 12 hours, come home, eat and go to bed. And that's pretty much how it's every day. Me; bummer.. Mirsada; Amra...(this is were I stopped listening)Mirsada; Amra... AMRA!!! ( still not listening.) That's when she hit me with a freaking cucumber that little sneaky bastard! It wasn't enough that my whole body was aching, no she just had to do it! Danke Mirsada! lot's of love to ya (bastard)! :D

Now I can die happy!

Ruisrock was the shit baby! Not did I only spend time with my friends but enjoyed the best music the world has to offer! It all started as a joke one night in Olivers' in... Olivers' in - where all the stupid ideas take form. Myself, Marie and Linda came up with this crazy plan that we should take a road trip down to Turku where the festival would take place and rock all day/night long. Well let me tell ya that I'm glad this plan of ours became reality because that one day was the best day of my life .. so far. So Marie picked me up in Närpes and then we continued the 3 hour long journey to Turku. We picked up Razze-boy and Linda and then continued to the festival. I have a very small bladder so on our way to the festival I really needed to go to the toilet... That's when I really wished that I was a damn boy! Really think about it, you standing and peeing, behind a bush, nobody is looking funny, absolutely heaven if you ask me! But thank you god for the outside toilets! Not a fresh solution but what's a girl to do? Well we finally came to the festival after a very long walk. We sat down and chilled for a while, and met some familiar faces. When we decided that it was time to go in we went straight away to the stand where they sell t-shirt. Got myself a XL- Rise Against t-shirt ( the only one they had left) and a green cool NOFX t-shirt. Razze- boy bought himself a pink hat which matched his red/ pale skin but he ended up losing it thou.. to bad! Before Raise Against was about to start we first watched Arch Enemy, damn that woman can sing/ scream whatever you call it! I had never seen or heard a woman like that. You go girl! Then the big moment we all been waiting for, Rise Against! I've forgot all the lyrics and I didn't even know what song they were playing, thats how lost I was, thats how stupefaction-ed I was by the performance. They were all I imagined and soooo much more! NOFX was next, and like Razze -boy said, they do know how to put up a show... They were talking/ joking with the audience, cursed like never before and I actually loved there performance! We were there for a good 45 minutes and went back to the stage where Rise Against played. This time it was Billy Talent time! Ben (the lead singer) was amazing, he has the coolest voice and funny as hell! First of all he said; You always give me reason to love Finland more and more! your beer tastes great! You have the most beautiful women in the world but! You suck in ice-hockey! But the most important thing is that you've beaten Sweden! The crowd went crazy! Shit! Just had a awesome time, the music can't be described.. Now we couldn't miss the prince of darkness mr. Ozzy Ozbourne himself! We just had to make sure he was alive and if he would collapse on stage and die we where there, we saw it, we experienced it.. but no he didn't. But now I can say that I saw him.. incredible! Words can't describe my night! They sure made my heart smile!
